PASTOR TOMAS & KARINA BUENO

Our Pastor and Mrs. Karina met at 16 yrs. old, had their first child at 18 and were married at 20, they never imagined that one day they would be Christians, let alone pastoring a church! 

​

At 22 years old, our Pastor was hooked on crystal meth, alcohol, and cigarettes. He had a wife, a 3-year-old son, and a 2-month-old daughter at home. They visited a licensed marriage counselor. They tried exercising will-power. They tried to live a “normal” life. They tried changing on their own. 

 

Then on Dec. 9th, 2001, our Pastor walked into a Christian church for the first time in his life! He heard the sermon and responded to the invitation of the pastor to surrender to God, truly believe in Jesus and turn from his sin. By the end of the church service he was a different man! Three days later, Mrs. Karina walked into the Wednesday night service and she had an encounter with God as well. God restored their broken marriage and blessed them with a total of 4 children, all raised in church! They now have a passion to reach others like they were reached and to watch God transform lives!
